กระจกลามิเนต

เป็นกระจกตั้งแต่ 2 ชิ้นขึ้นไป มาทำการ "ลามิเนต" ทำเป็นชั้นๆ โดยประกบด้วยฟิล์ม PVB ( Polyvinyl Butyral ) หรือ EVA ( Ethylene Vinyl Acetate ) เพื่อการใช้งาน ที่ต้องการความแข็งแกร่ง และในด้านความปลอดภัยสูง, จากนั้นนำมาผ่านกระบวนการรีดด้วย Roller ทำให้ PVB Film ยึดติดกับกระจก หลังจากนั้นกระจกที่ประกบแล้ว จะถูกนำไปอบในเตา Autoclave ที่ควบคุมอุณหภูมิ และความดันที่เหมาะสม เพื่อไล่อากาศออกจนหมด เรียกว่า “กระจกเทมเปอร์ลามิเนต”, กระจกลามิเนต จึงเป็นกระจก นิรภัยชนิดหนึ่ง ที่เวลาแตกแล้วเศษกระจกจะยังคงยึดติดกันอยู่ด้วยฟิล์มระหว่างแผ่นกระจกเหมือนกับใยแมงมุม ที่มีการนำเอากระจก 2 แผ่น หรือกระจกมากกว่า 2 แผ่น มาประกบติดกันไว้ด้วยฟิล์มกับกระจกนิรภัยเทมเปอร์ ( Tempered Safe Glass ) หรือกระจกธรรมดา ( Annealed Glass / Floated Glass )
